Gary Loar is the founder of the firm.  His personal mission statement includes, “always leading andlearning.”  This probably explains why he returned to college in his early thirties to complete his undergraduate degree that he began a decade earlier.  And, then several years later, he received his MBA from Liberty University.  Gary began his work career at a steel mill during the early 70s.  Even though a recession in the steel industry caused many workers to lose their jobs, he was offered a promotion to remain with the company.  Although he worked in corporate America for several years, he has spent the majority of his career working with non-profit organizations and in the educational system where he served his district in the capacity of Accountability and School Improvement.

His claim to fame is his three children and their business successes.  You will meet his two sons as members of the team.  His daughter hasn’t joined the firm yet as she is too busy with her husband running their own energy conservation company which grossed over 1.3 million dollars in only their second year of operation. They have begun a second company which is also enjoying great success.  As a Professional Learning Facilitator, Gary is very comfortable whether he is speaking to hundreds or coaching one-to-one.  Many have said his practice of active listening associated with his motivation for others’ success makes him one of the most effective leadership coaches anywhere.

He is also known for his teachings on the subject of “Now That I Am A Leader – What’s Next?”  He speaks of the “Six ‘Chad-leys’ of Maintaining Your Leadership Role” – 1) Be In The Bus, Not Under It; 2) Tell It Like It Is; 3) What’s In Your Pockets; 4) Be A Know-It-All; 5); Scrub and Sweep 6) It’s OK to Lose When You End Up Winning.  If you don’t contact him for any other services than this one, you won’t be sorry because this motivational teaching will change those in leadership forever.

Holle Loar has had great success in every business endeavor she has involved herself with.  She has designed the plans for the refurbishment of some of the oldest South Carolina plantation houses.  She designed and owned rental properties.  Yet, we use her expertise in the area of “Sexual Harassment in the Workplace.”  Holle has been a guest lecturer in many different avenues on this subject among others.
Holle began a Sexuality Education program for a school district in South Carolina.  While there, she wrote her own curriculum and lesson plans for reaching the diverse population of students.  She received recognition from the State legislation on behalf of the school district for her work in Teen Pregnancy prevention. She then moved to Florida and worked with a school district teaching in their schools as a Prevention Nurse.  Holle’s tenacious work ethic and strong belief in making a difference in a person’s life has helped make our firm so successful.

Howard Cone is our “ole” ball coach.  Every team should have one.  He has been successful in coaching football both on the high school and college level.  He loves competition and thus challenges all of us to always perform at our best.  Coming from a home where a parent was an alcoholic, Howard has devoted his life to helping others who have some type of addiction problem whether it is alcohol, drugs or anger.  He earned his Master’s degree in Addiction Counseling from Liberty University.
Howard has experience in speaking on the local, state and national scene about addiction and its harmful effects.  He has collaborated with the Drug Czar of Florida concerning educational materials and programs for Florida’s public schools.  He has conducted drug and psycho-social assessments for adults in penal institutions and adolescents in the public schools.  Howard donates his time helping underachieving students in academics and teenagers in need of spiritual guidance.  A man of his experience and wisdom is a valued asset to our team.

Brian Loar brings an unending energy to our team.  He graduated from the University of Central Florida with a degree in Finance in the late nineties.  Jobs were scarce at this time, so he had to be very aggressive in finding meaningful employment.  He was able to get employment with a firm in Melbourne, Fla. selling computerized medical equipment.  He was the only salesman in this small organization.  Success came quickly to Brian, and his first bonus check was a five-digit figure.  He left this firm after a few years and went to work for another company who specialized in computer software for the medical field.  In just two short years, Brian advanced to Vice-President of Sales for the Eastern United States and Canada and the Caribbean.  At this time, Brian returned to school on the weekends and earned his MBA from the University of Florida.
Brian became a father and decided that he wanted to spend more time with the family.  So, he left management and returned to sales for a new company on the west coast.  Within six months of employment, he was asked to consider a management position with this company.  Subsequently, a few months later Brian was promoted to the Director of Sales for the United States.  Needless to say, Brian is a young-energetic man with new ideas and a work ethic that most cannot match.

Chad Loar majored in Finance and graduated from Florida State University.  He began his career with a bank in Tampa, Fla. and has progressed from Portfolio Specialist to Vice-President in Commercial Lending.  Chad has a special and unique talent in that he is systematic and methodical but also able to produce results at an alarming fast-rate.  His bank CEO once stated that he was able to close a deal faster from the point of the initial contact with a prospect to final approval of the loan than anyone else.  He is an expert at finding new business while retaining existing clients at the same time.  His ability to assist new and struggling businesses with their financial organization and needs is extremely beneficial to our clientele.

Chad knows what it means to spend long hours in the field and the office to ensure success.  How he finds the time is beyond us because he also is involved with his other company in purchasing real estate and turning it over in subsequent years.  He is involved in many civic organizations where he helps communities with different needs.  He too earned his MBA from the University of Florida.  Chad believes in that old adage, “It is not how hard you work, but how smart you work” and in his own favorite saying, “Act don’t speak!”
